ANDREA STINSON,  WNBA 1998 – 2005

Andrea began her basketball career at North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, N.C. While at North Meck. she was selected as the NCHSAA Female Player of the Year as well as the Charlotte Obsever’s North Carilina Miss Basketball. Andrea’s collegiate career at N.C. State University was just as steller as she piled up such records as third in scoring (2,136), third in field goals (917), third in steals (286), sixth in assist (402) and sixth in blockedshots (84). Andrea also played in the Pan American Games were she was awarded the Bronze medal. The WNBA came calling in 1987 as she singed with the Charlotte Sting and later with the Detriot Shock. Andrea was named to the Eastern conference All – Star team in 2001. she led Charlotte in scoring for 5 seasons and finished second to Cynthia Cooper in the WNBA MVP voting in 1997. She finished her career with the Detriot Shock in 2005. Andrea is currently the head girls coach at Newton – Conover High School in Newton, N.C.

TARANCE ROSE,  IONA COLLEGE  1996 – 97

Tarance was a standout basketball player at West Florence High School in Florence, S.C. He began his college career at Spartanburgh Methodist College and guided the Pioneers to a 35 – 2 record and a runner up finish at the NJCAA Tournament, he  was voted the tournaments Most Outstanding Player. In his senior year Tarance led the Pioneers to the regular season championship and the NIT tournament in 1986 – 87. Tarance’s most memorable moment came in the NCAA Tournament when Iona College within minutes of upsetting Syracuse and advancing to the round of 32. Upon graduation started his college coaching career at Duquesne University. Currently Tarance is the assistant boys coach basketball coach and the in school suspension teacher at Providence High School in Charlotte N.C. The founder of 3,2,1 Fundamentals Basketball Training School which is based on a philosophy that emphasis  unity, personal responsibility, intensity, work ethic and communication skills.

RICHIE WILLIAMS,  HAMILTON TIGER – CATS,  WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS  2006 – 09

Richie was a standout football player at Camden High School in Camden, S.C. Richie was recruited by Appalachian State University were he became the starting quarterback in 2006 .He set the NCAA single game accuracy record as well as setting the NCAA record for 28 straight  passes in a single season. In 2005 the Mountaineers went 12 – 3 and won not only the Southern Conference Championship but also won the NCAA Division 1 (FCS) National Championship, ASU’s  first of three. Richie finished at ASU after being honored with the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year and the Bob Waters Male Athlete of the Year as well. He started his professional career with the Hamilton Tiger – Cats in 2006, he saw action in 52 games and was honored as the CFL’s Offensive Player of the Week in a 45 – 21 rout of the Toronto Argonauts in week 7 of the 2008 season. Richie finished his playing career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in in 2009.  Once out of football richie joined the NASCAR D4D Drive for Diversity Pit Crew Training Program in the fall of 2009. Richie is currently  the Jackman for Roush Fenway Racing and driver Trevor Bayne in the Sprint Cup Series, He has also been the Jackman for Ricky Stenhouse in 2014 and won in the Xfinity Series with Trevor Bayne in 2014 as well. was a member of the Germain Organization in their 2010 Camping World Truck Series Championship with Todd Bodine.
